The Facility
Located off Queen Elizabeth Way at 560 Centennial Parkway North, Moxie’s Hamilton is situated at the base of the Sandman Hotel Hamilton. It is just minutes away from Lake Ontario, Confederation Beach Park, Albion Falls, and the Stoney Creek Smart Centre, making it a prime spot for both locals and visitors.
The Heating Challenge
During the chilly months, outdoor seating and entrance areas can become uncomfortably cold, posing a significant concern for keeping patrons and employees warm and comfortable. Moxie’s needed an effective heating solution to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
Implementation
SRP’s business development manager collaborated with a local representative to design and implement an energy-efficient solution. Their goal was to maintain warmth and comfort at the main entrance and outdoor seating area while conserving energy and reducing costs. A total of eight SRP® ETS heaters were successfully installed in these areas.
Results
When SRP’s representative visited Moxie’s to follow up on the heaters’ performance, he received positive feedback on their efficiency. The SRP® heating systems not only met but exceeded Moxie’s heating challenges. As a result, other Moxie’s locations across Canada have begun installing SRP’s heaters in the same manner.
